Floor Plan Overview
The floors 11-20 version of Suite 01 & 08 is the bread and butter of Pinnacle Marina Tower. At 1,676 sq ft — 167 sq ft larger than the floors 3-10 version — these corner units feature the same popular great room layout with a notably larger primary bathroom and a second bedroom that functions more like a suite, set off its own hallway for added privacy. Ceiling heights on these floors are also slightly taller than on floors 3–10, adding to the already open feel of the great room.

The two bedrooms remain split on opposite sides of the living area, which is consistently one of the most appreciated features of this plan. The primary bath has a dual vanity, separate tub and walk-in shower. Walk-in closets in both the primary and second bedroom round out a layout that works well for full-time residents, part-time owners, and investors alike.

Starting at floor 11 you get legitimate bay, Coronado Bridge, and Point Loma views — this is where the views in the building really open up.

Views
Suite 01 is on the southeast corner with views toward the bay, Coronado Bridge, and the San Diego skyline. These are very popular units — the price difference between a 01 and an 08 on the same floor is typically small, and many buyers are happy to take the 01 for the Coronado Bridge and skyline angle.

Suite 08 is on the southwest corner with views toward the bay, Point Loma, and the ocean horizon. The 08 is the preferred unit for most buyers in this tier — southwest bay views from these floors are among the best views in all of Downtown San Diego — though both orientations sell well and quickly.

Balconies
Suite 01 & 08 on floors 11-20 has two balconies — a main south-facing deck off the living room, and a smaller side balcony off the kitchen that residents frequently use for barbecuing. The main balcony on these floors captures unobstructed bay views in both orientations.

“A lot of Pinnacle buyers covet the 01 and 08 plans on floors 11-20. You get impressive bay views starting at 11 and the floor plan is spacious with a true great room. Pricing these days tends to come down to remodeling and floor height more than whether it’s a 01 or 08 — both orientations are popular and both move well. One thing worth noting on the 08 — the second bedroom on those units can clear CityFront Terrace to the west, so you get bay views from the second bedroom as well. On the 01 side the second bedroom looks toward the Horizons building, which is slightly less private.”
